In the 70s, Henk Van Dalen began curating and collecting, then breeding cannabis seeds from sources sent to Holland from all over the world. He soon realized breeding your own genetics meant a better product.

This realization was coupled with the idea that people, in general, would rather buy seeds and grow their own cannabis rather than buy it on the streets from an unknown source.

By 1987 Dutch Passion was formally created. A decade later, Dutch Passion was the first seed bank to sell feminized cannabis seeds. And, since then, Dutch Passion has been introducing more and more cannabis revolutions and innovations. After Seedsman, they too began specializing in Autoflower genetics.

Dutch Passion grows from their own gene bank of original genetics collected decades ago.  These days, many newer seed banks simply regurgitate existing varieties/genetics and put a new name on them. Dutch Passion is both proud and fortunate to have its own legendary varieties from the 1980s and plenty of old original seeds to use for future projects.

Crowned Best Seed bank at Spannabis 2014, Dutch Passion are well known for their sophistication and quality. The Dutch Passion breeders concern themselves with creating and preserving quality, and their varieties have won many prizes in the Cannabis Cup's.
